FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
IM NOT FROM PA CAN YOU STILL PRESERVE MY FLOWERS?
Absolutely Yes!
I've worked with brides in quite a few states and hope to one day preserve a piece for someone is all 50 states! Shipping flowers is rather easy! Once you book your date I will provide shipping instructions. It is best to ship your bouquet within 2-4 days after your event for best results. I am not responsible for lost or damaged packages. The way your bouquet shows up is how it will be preserved, unless we make arrangements for flower replacements.
I am not responsible for lost or stolen items durning the shipping process.

I do not pay for shipping of your bouquet or shipping of your final piece that will be added into your final payment.
CAN YOU PRESERVE MY AIR-DRIED FLOWERS THAT I'VE HAD FOR YEARS?
Most definitely yes! Â Unfortunately I will not beable to change the color or shape of your flowers as they are already dried but they will still look beautiful cast and be able to hold onto them forever without continuing to rot and crumble.
CAN YOU CAST SILK OR WOOD FLOWERS?
Yes, silk and wood flowers make for beautiful preservations. You can also add Pictures, Invitations, Custom cake toppers, Bouquet charms, Trinket memorabilia and other items of importance as long as the item does not hold moisture and as long as that item fits into the mold requested.
I GOT MARRIED LAST WEEKEND CAN YOU STILL PRESERVE MY BOUQUET?
Depending on the amount of bouquets I have booked for that week, they are priority. if I have enough drying supplies to take on your bouquet I will most definitely do so!
If your bouquet is to far into the air drying process I will continue to dry them that way as the silica will most likely make your flowers fall apart in the process. If needed we can work with a local florist to replace any specific flower as long as it is still in season and accessible, that price will be added into the preservation
WHY ARE MY FLOWERS TRANSLUCENT IN MY BLOCK?
Unfortunately I do not have any control on how your flowers will appear in the resin. The translucent spots you will see in your flowers is from bruising. This can occur at any time, from your florist, being thrown around at your special event or during the shipping process.
All flowers will change color during the drying process as the moisture in the flowers is being removed from them. Some flowers might be more dramatic than others.

White flowers as beautiful as they are can turn brown very quickly, it is extremely hard to keep them a crispy white. I do not do any color correcting to the florals as I want to keep them as realistic as possible.

Reds and purples dry very dark.
HOW LONG DOES THE ENTIRE PROCESS TAKE?
Drying flowers doesn't happen over night, its actually a very long delicate process. When I receive your bouquet I have to dismantle it completely to be able to start drying and let me tell you some florist are extremely proud of their work (as they should be ) it may take some time sorting out all the stems. Once I get your flowers ready for the silica, they will then rest for about 2-4 weeks depending on the types of flowers and how large the order is. I do not skip orders I do them as I receive them. When your bouquet is ready to be uncover and cleaned we continue the process until they are fully cast into the desired molds.
WHY IS FLOWER PRESERVATION SO EXPENSIVE?
As much as I would love to be able to offer my services for free its just simply impossible! (maybe if I hit the lottery one day ) but until then..
There is so much that goes into preserving flowers that you do not see. You see the flowers you bring me and the finish product. What you do not see is all the other supplies involved like silica, containers, molds, every little item needed to mix and cast resin, packing materials the list could go on and on.
I've done plenty of research and many of trial and error moments when it comes to choosing the right products for the best quality finished pieces.

You are paying for a custom handmade service. So much of my time and love goes into each and every step of the process to ensure you get the best results.

I do highly suggest for brides to add flower preservation from Forever and a day bouquet to there registry! What an amazing gift that would be!
